International Priorities

We have compiled a table of the UK's international priorities for sustainable development primarily arising from the World Summit on Sustainable Development, the Doha Development Agenda of the WTO, the Monterrey Consensus on Financing for Development and the Millennium Development Goals. The table includes targets, lead departments and sources of information on delivery. It will be developed and updated as the UK Strategy is implemented and used as a monitoring and reporting tool.

The UK's priorities for International Sustainable Development are set out in the table below. You can also view the international priorities. To help you draw a distinction between international goals, targets and the means of achieving them we have also developed an explanatory diagram (PDF, 33KB)

The following subject headings act as quick links to specific priorities within the priorities table. A downloadable version is also available (PDF, 100KB)
