A training package developed by museums and galleries and aimed at people with mental health problems was launched at the Wallace Collection on 16 September 2008. The launch highlighted the importance of the arts for people with experience of mental health problems, and aims to broker closer working relationships between museums, health and education at a national, regional and local levels.
