Farming: Defra workshop for livestock farmers on statutory record keeping requirements
As part of Defra’s better regulation programme, we are undertaking a short and focussed project to establish whether there are opportunities to simplify record keeping requirements for livestock keepers.
To hear the experiences of livestock farmers directly, we will hold a workshop on 11 September at our offices here in London. Discussions will focus on:
- identifying concerns with current requirements for farm record keeping; and
- practical ideas for easing the time and effort spent on recording and making information available to enforcement and other organisations.
