Report of the Shared Equity Task Force
At Budget 2006, the Chancellor announced the establishment of the Shared Equity Task Force to look at ways to increase the number of households able to access home ownership through shared equity products, and to examine the case for Government intervention in this market. This report sets out the Task Force's conclusions: the steps Government will take to remove barriers and stimulate the development of market shared equity products, and to enhance the efficiency of its public programmes.
