Publication of Public Expenditure Statistical Analyses (PESA) National Statistics First Release

The 2008 Public Expenditure Statistical Analyses (PESA) National Statistics First Release is published today. This is an annual publication of statistical data on public expenditure outturn from 2002-03 to 2006-07.

Notes to editors

1. The last edition of PESA (Cm 7091) was published in April 2007.

2. The release of data for this publication notice has followed the National Statistics Code of Practice and Protocol of Release Practices. National Statistics in PESA are released in accordance with the Treasury´s statement on compliance with the Code's protocol on release practices, available on the Treasury website.
