Consultation on a proposed Legislative Reform Order to amend the Consumer Credit Act 1974

This consultation seeks views on proposals to amend the Consumer Credit Act 1974 to:

exempt buy-to-let lending satisfying certain conditions from regulation under the Act;
clarify the giving of statements for fixed-sum credit agreements; and
provide definitions of "payments" for the purpose of issuing arrears notices.
