About Us

Events

Each year Companies House organises or attends a variety of events to support and advise businesses. This includes attending business focussed exhibitions throughout the UK and organising Seminars to support new directors and secretaries.

We also travel throughout the UK:

  • promoting Companies House's services
  • advising businesses on how to meet their obligations under the Companies Act
  • to provide opportunities to meet and discuss issues with our staff

Free Seminars

To help keep companies on the right side of the law we arrange several seminars throughout the year covering the legal responsibilities of company directors and secretaries under the Companies Act 2006 legislation.

The aim of the seminar is to help you:

  • ensure that company officers and their advisors are familiar with the filing requirements of the Companies Act 2006
  • discover how best to file your documents online
  • provide advice on recent changes in legislation and the impact they may have on companies and their officers
  • explain future developments
  • find out how you can check your own company information online

Our seminars last for approximately three hours and are free to attend. You can choose to come along to a morning seminar or afternoon seminar - so don't miss out.

Focus Groups

We are continually striving to improve the services we offer to our customers. To do this effectively it is important for our organisation to have a broad understanding of its customers’ needs. One of the ways in which we gain and improve our knowledge is through our regional focus groups.

Meeting regularly, these sessions continue to provide us with valuable feedback, so that we can address customer issues and better plan how our projects should be taken forward.
