ACRE Meeting on 21 February 2008

The Advisory Committee on Releases to the Environment (ACRE) will meet on 21 February when it is expected to discuss the following:

  • Application to market a human medicinal product consisting of or containing a GMO – review of environmental risk assessment under Regulation (EC) 726/2004
  • Application for part B consent from the University of Leeds to release genetically modified solanum tuberosum to evaluate level of field resistance conferred on GM potatoes to potato cyst nematodes and to measure any effects on non-target soil nematodes - ref: 07/R31/01
  • Update on notifications for authorisation under the GM food and feed EU Regulation (EC) 1829/2003
  • EFSA Opinion on an application (EFSA-GMO-UK-2004-04) to import LLRICE62 (glufosinate-tolerant) under Regulation (EC) 1829/2003 from Bayer CropScience
  • ACRE Annual Report 2007
  • Application to release a non-native entomopathogenic nematode for biocontrol purposes
