Sustainable Rural Communities

Defra aims to promote social inclusion, access to public services and enhance economic regeneration in rural communities. Rural communities are economically and socially diverse, social science methods in particular are important in helping us to understand and track changes and trends in order to develop policies for sustainable rural communities.
