Offshore Transmission - A joint Ofgem / BERR Policy Statement July 2007

This consultation will be of interest primarily to the renewable energy industry. BERR and Ofgem are consulting on initial proposals for a licensing and regulatory regime that will apply to offshore electricity transmission networks. The key issues being consulted upon are:

  • Design of the regulatory regime
  • Enduring competitive framework
  • Transitional arrangements
