Financial Reporting

Financial Reporting
Financial Reporting covers the accounting, audit and report aspects of Company Law.

It is vital that the UK economy has efficient and effective capital markets and there is confidence in the corporate framework through greater transparency and participation.  Financial Reporting contributes to that commitment through the development of the policy and legislation on audit, accounting and financial reporting standards in the UK.  This includes the implementation of international standards and an ongoing dialogue with UK stakeholders and EU/International regulators on measures to advance competition and resilience in the audit market.
