Gift Aid consultation
The Government's Gift Aid consultation will examine and identify measures to drive up charitable giving through Gift Aid. HM Treasury will consult with a wide range of charitable organisations through online consultation and a series of regional consultation events.
The consultation was launched on 19 June 2007 at a round table discussion between The Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Stephen Timms MP, and the Minister for the Third Sector, Ed Milliband MP and representatives from the charity sector.

The first Gift Aid consultation event will take place at London King's College, Strand Campus on Monday 30 July, from 10.30am until 3.30pm.
