UK Implementation of the EU Market Abuse Directive 2003/6/EC

The Market Abuse Directive sets a common framework for tackling insider dealing and market manipulation in the EU and the proper disclosure of information to the market.

This joint consultation with the FSA seeks comments on the proposed legislative and FSA Handbook changes to achieve implementation. The closing date for comments was 10 September 2004. Details of follow up action are available on the  Market Abuse Directive index .
