Soil Action Plan

Advisory Forum

Introduction

The Advisory Forum allows stakeholders to put views to Government on the progress and implementation of the Soil Action Plan (SAP).

In fitting with the agreed terms of reference, the Advisory Forum (AF) has a dual role:

  1. oversight of progress; and
  2. assistance in delivering the SAP.

Subgroups have been created, aligned to the overarching topics of the SAP to undertake the assistance role.

The AF meets twice a year (in May and November) to feedback on progress made on delivering the Action Plan and to discuss matters relating to particular actions. Papers resulting from these meetings are published.

A monthly newsletter is produced to keep AF members informed and involved with progress made on the SAP. This is circulated to AF members towards the end of each month.
