Vibration at work

Worried about risks from exposure to hand-arm vibration or whole-body vibration?

Whether you are an employer, worker, safety representative or specialist, these pages offer helpful advice on how you can reduce and control the risks from hand-arm and whole-body vibration.

Regular exposure to hand-arm vibration can cause a range of conditions known as Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) which includes vibration white finger and carpal tunnel syndrome. Similarly whole-body vibration can cause back pain or make this worse.
