The Department of Trade and Industry with the support of organisations including Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT), Fight for Sight and the Blue Cross, encourage a safe and responsible understanding of fireworks, their sale, and use. This website gives year-round information about firework legislation and using fireworks safely.

  DID YOU KNOW...? It is against the law to throw or set off fireworks in the street.
  DID YOU KNOW...? It is an offence to let fireworks off during night hours (11pm to 7am), except on Bonfire Night (midnight), Diwali, New Year, and Chinese New Year (1am).
