Ian Watmore

Ian Watmore was appointed in May 2004, and in September 2004 took up the posts of Head of e-Government, Central Sponsor for Information Assurance and Head of Profession for Government IT. His role is equivalent to that of a private sector Chief Information Officer (CIO). He chairs both the Government’s CIO Council and the Senior IT Forum.
