Appointments Unit
The Public Appointments Unit sits within the Cabinet Office. It
co-ordinates policy on public appointments to the boards of national and
regional public bodies. It also operates a vacancies website where members
of the public can search for public appointments.
The website has replaced the Public Appointments Register, which was closed
in 2003.
