Farming: Online dialogue with David Miliband

David MilibandWelcome to our online farming dialogue. The idea of this space was to discuss the future of farming, a subject which I spoke about at the Royal Show this week.

Topics for discussion

I spoke about the need to balance your economic prosperity with the concept of One Planet Living - living within the limits of our finite natural resources - and would like to hear your views about what this means for you. What do farmers need to do to re-connect with the public and look after the environment? Let me hear what you have to say on these issues and anything related to them. You may wish to read my speech at the Royal Show.

The online dialogue session has now ended and I'm afraid you can no longer send in questions via this route.

I think this has been a really good exercise and I hope that many people interested in the future of farming get to read this. Hopefully the debate will continue on my blog. Thank you to everyone who has taken part, further thoughts are always welcome.
