News and developments

• 5 April 2006: Drigg Review Decision Document published

• 28 February 2006: Consultation on policy for the long term management of solid low level radioactive waste in the UK published. The deadline for responses is 31 May 2006.

• 11 January 2006: Comments from stakeholders are sought on the draft radioactively contaminated land exposure assessment (RCLEA) methodology. The deadline for responses was 20 February 2006.

• 3 November 2005: Consultation on guidance to Environment Agency on HASS Regulations. The deadline for responses was 30 January 2006

• 24 October 2005: Consultation on draft Magnox decision document. The deadline for responses was 16 January 2006.

• 18 July 2005: Consultation on contaminated land: extension of Part 2A of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 to include radioactivity published. The deadline for responses was 9 October 2005. Now updated with the consultation analysis.
