Terms of Reference
1. The Panel's original Terms of Reference, below, were amended after the FMPR to clarify the Panel's role and remit.
'To advise, as required, on the establishment and application of air quality standards in the United Kingdom, for purposes of developing policy on air pollution control and increasing public knowledge and understanding of air quality, taking account of the best available evidence of air pollution on human health and the wider environment, and of the progressive development of the air quality monitoring network.'
