Air Quality Expert Group report on Climate Change and Air Quality

This will be the third report from the Air Quality Expert Group (AQEG).

The report will address the links between climate change and air quality, focusing on:

  • an investigation of the likely impacts of predicted levels of climate change on air pollutant concentrations
  • the synergies and trade-offs between climate change and air quality
  • decisions about the ancillary effects of climate change policy on air quality
  • future research requirements.

This report will inform Defra and the Devolved Administrations' ultimate aim to inform a more holistic assessment of climate change and air quality policy.
