How to make a request to re-use information |

This guidance explains the procedures we operate to help you to make a request to re-use Defra's information under the Re-use of Public Sector Information Regulations. When applying to re-use information, you should:
The application should be sent to Defra Crown Copyright Officer Email: webmaster@defra.gsi.gov.uk. We will deal with your request as quickly as we can and will aim to provide a full response at the latest within 20 working days. If for any reason we are unable to let you have a response within 20 working days we will contact you as soon as possible explaining the reasons for this. Applicants should be aware that if a licence is required to re-use Defra's information, this will be issued by the Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI), which will be sent to you direct. If a charge is made for the re-use of information, this will be administered by OPSI. Should a request to re-use information be refused, we will:
