MARGARET BECKETT STATEMENT WITH JAVIER SOLANA ON THE MIDDLE EAST (13/07/06)
Margaret Beckett has met with the EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy, Javier Solana. Following the meeting, Mrs Beckett said: 'Mr Solana and I are gravely concerned about the escalation of the present crisis which now poses a serious threat for both Israel and Lebanon and indeed the wider security of the region.'
