Armed Forces Pension Scheme 1975 (AFPS 75)
Information on the pension scheme for service personnel introduced in 1975 and closed to new entrants from 6 April 2005.

Armed Forces Pension Scheme 2005 (AFPS 05)
This is the pension scheme for Regular Service personnel. It  became effective for new entrants from 6 April 2005 and from 6 April 2006 for Service personnel who elected to transfer from AFPS 75 as a result of the Offer To Transfer.
