The number of injuries caused by fireworks each year is relatively low. DTI have published injury data for the 2004 firework season here.

DTI continues to promote general firework safety messages through existing campaign materials aimed at all Fire Brigades, Environmental Health and Trading Standards officers, Health Promotion Units, and Police Forces in England, Scotland and Wales.
