Charter Mark Standard - A Review: In his speech on 24th August, John Hutton announced plans to build upon the success of Charter Mark, to review the existing Charter Mark scheme and to develop a new customer service standard to encourage and recognise outstanding customer service across our public services. Bernard Herden, Chief Executive of the UK Passport Service has agreed to undertake the review.
