Knowledge Transfer Networks
Knowledge Transfer
Networks, part of the Technology
Programme, aim to put a host of useful information
at your fingertips. This will help you to find out what’s new in
technology or policy that may benefit or effect you - as well as
enabling you to find suitable, collaborative partners or put
forward your opinions and debate specific issues.
Such information could include news,
patents, reports and debates, at multi-regional, national and
international levels, and involve many relevant stakeholders from
Academia and Business to Regional Development Agencies, Devolved
Administrations and Government Departments.
Knowledge Transfer Networks will play an
important role in the development of the Technology
Strategy too, providing stakeholders with a
focussed communication channel to participate in it’s
development and a source of credible information and opinion for
Government to draw on.
These networks will be supported by a DTI
Grant, and if you wish to apply for a grant, further details of
the key technology areas currently being supported can be found
under open
calls.
Some networks are already under development
in key technology areas;
Details of other networks will be posted here as
they become available.
