What's New?

The Government has published its response to the Sustainable Building task Groups final report (27 July)
 

On 30th July the Government published the final consultation paper on the WEEE and RoHS directives. Closing date 29 October 2004.


The European Commission has launched a public consultation on the future of the EU Sustainable Development Strategy. Closing date 31st October 2004


The environmental priorities of the Dutch EU Presidency are available at the Dutch Environment ministry website (23 July 2004)


The DTI has published the Trade and Investment White Paper "Making Globalisation a Force for Good" (6 July 2004)


On 5 July Stephen Timms launched the new Academy for Corporate Social Responsibility. More details are available at the CSR Academy website


The Government's new Corporate Social Responsibility website is now live. It includes information on how the Government is supporting the spread of CSR in the UK and internationally.


The minutes and presentations from the 3rd meeting of the Environmental Innovation Advisory Group are available on the website of the Joint Environmental Markets Unit . (Follow the 'What's New link)


The final report of the Sustainable Buildings Task Group has now been published (17 May 2004)
