The project collected information to provide a broad picture of the older motorcyclists' activities in terms of exposure, experience, vehicle characteristics, riding history and attitudes to risk. In involved four stages: a literature review, a survey examining ownership characteristics, a survey examining psychological determinants of risky riding behaviours and a simple accident analysis using STATS19 data.
