Opportunities New Europe

Next year 10 new countries will join the 15 current Member States in the EU. This will bring real benefits to Britain yet few people are aware of the opportunities and implications of this historic transformation. This is why, The Minister for Europe, Denis MacShane, is leading a country-wide programme of events to engage local audiences on this important issue. This will range from business seminars to university debates to cultural events and involve Ministers from across Government, MEPs and local business people. Around the country, people will have the opportunity to find out about the new countries that will be joining the EU and discuss just how this will impact on them.
