Risk Management Improvement Programme: TREASURY-BASED RISK SUPPORT TEAM

A small multi-disciplinary team, the Risk Support Team (RST), is being set up in HM Treasury, for a period of two years, to support implementation of the risk improvement programme. The RST team leader, Hugh Pullinger, will also act as overall programme manager. The risk support team can be contacted by e-mail, by fax 020 7451 7567 or by phone 020 7270 5174.

The team members are:

  • Hugh Pullinger, team leader (previously project leader for the Strategy Unit risk study; seconded from the Department for Work and Pensions)
  • Stian Holen
  • Robert Turner (seconded from the Health and Safety Executive)
  • Raquel Duarte-Davidson (seconded from the Environment Agency)

The team will also draw on inputs from private sector pratitioners.

In the Strategy Unit risk report a number of recommendations for which the Risk Support Team should take a leading role have been identified.
