PACT Postgraduate Courses in Process Automation

PACT (Partnership in Automation & Control Training) has received a grant through the Universitys Collaborative Training Account (CTA). This is Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) funding which has been awarded to provide bursaries for delegates from Small to Medium Sized Enterprises (SME) and or who are self employed. The award is worth £20,000 per year, for four years, with effect from September 2004. Note that,:

A small company is defined to be <50 employees and a turnover of <10M Euros, Medium sized company is defined to be <250 employees and a turnover of <50M Euros.

The bursaries are prestigious and will be assigned on a competitive basis to the strongest/most deserving cases rather than on a first-come first-served basis. The exact basis for awarding bursaries has yet to be decided: it may be for individual modules for lots of delegates each year or, alternatively, it could be for lots of modules for a few delegates spread over a number of years.
