The Department is responsible for a range of benefits and services for people of working age, providing financial help and support. From the list below, pick an area than relates to you and check if you are able to get any of the benefits and services. If you cannot find the information you need, please check the A-Z benefits list or use the search facility.

Jobcentre Plus delivers services to working age people. We are introducing new style Jobcentre Plus offices across the country and the changes will be completed by 2006. In the mean time your local Jobcentre and social security office will offer help and advice.

The Inland Revenue deals with tax credits and NI contributions.

Age Positive
