We are currently working on two indexing projects.

The first involves indexing documents relating to the discharge of soldiers (WO121/137-222). This is the continuation of work already carried out to index other soldiers' discharge documents (WO 97/1-1271 and WO 121/1-136). The results of this project can be seen in the online catalogue. Many of the volunteers indexing this material have been helping with the project for over ten years and come to The National Archives every Tuesday.

The second project will help create better descriptions for some of The National Archives many photographs. Volunteers working from home are entering data from photocopies of registers relating to COPY 1/364-566 onto computer for eventual uploading onto the online catalogue.
