CHANGE OF UNITED KINGDOM PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE TO THE CONFERENCE ON DISARMAMENT AT GENEVA (03/06/04)

The Foreign Secretary has approved the appointment of Dr John Freeman to be the United Kingdom Permanent Representative to the Conference on Disarmament at Geneva in succession to Mr David Broucher, who will be retiring from the Diplomatic Service. Dr John Freeman will hold the personal rank of Ambassador and will take up his new appointment in September 2004.
