The Foreign and Commonwealth Office operates a set of terms and conditions for the use of its website. These set out the obligations the FCO has to its users, and also the obligations that users have to the site.

The general Terms and conditions set out government policy on copyright and intellectual property, hyperlinking, virus protection and service levels.

The Privacy statement covers the FCO's obligations under the Data Protection Act, the circumstances under which it collects data and the and the way it uses that information. It also covers cookies.

The Acceptable use policy sets out the rules which the user is deemed to comply with by enetering the site, and includes acceptable use of web forums.

The Accessibility statements explains the features we have implemented on the site to make it easier to use for those with visual or motor disabilities and for those on slower internet connections or who are sitting behind protective firewalls.
