British Services Makalu Expedition 2004

The British Army are providing nearly half of the personnel, ten, that are in the Joint services team that will be attempting to climb three peaks in the Himilayas. The main team of 14 will climb Makalu at 8463m, whilst a smaller team of 12 will climb the two smaller peaks of Baruntse (7124m) and Mera (6476m). To follow their progress Click here. |

Buster the dog receives his bravery award
