Travellers' Tips: Korea (Democratic People's Republic)

There is no means of obtaining money in an emergency in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Make sure that you have sufficient fund for your trip.

Confirm your flight tickets for the return journey well in advance (issued tickets do not necessarily mean seats).

Bring sufficient supplies of any medication that your may require, as it is not possible to purchase supplies of most foreign manufactured medicines in Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
