Responses to the White Paper: Managing the Nuclear Legacy

The White Paper Managing the Nuclear Legacy: A Strategy for Action was published on 4 July 2002. It sets out the Government's approach and outlines proposed new arrangements for the cleaning up of the public sector civil nuclear legacy. The changes include the creation of a new national body- the Liabilities Management Authority (LMA).

The White Paper asked for views on the proposed new arrangements and on the way in which they should be implemented

The consultation ended on 18 October 2002
