How Will This Affect Me?
Dealing with the nuclear legacy will have implications for many people. People living in the vicinity of sites may have a keen interest in understanding safety and security practices. And in the wider community, business organisations and local interest groups may wish to know how to make their views known and find out more about the DTI's progress in developing the new clean up arrangements. BNFL and UKAEA employees will want to know what the new clean up arrangements mean for them and may have specific concerns about their terms, conditions and pensions or about the levels of employment as sites are decommissioned. Whether you are directly involved or simply have a general interest in nuclear clean up, we hope, on this site, to answer such concerns or tell you where you can find the answers.
