Promoting Best Practice
Producing an ingenious piece of research does not in itself
help the performance or competitiveness of the industry if the
results of that work are not adopted in practice.
The Construction Best
Practice Programme (CBPP) has been established to raise
awareness of the benfits of best practice and to ensure
organisations can access the skills and knowledge required to
implement change
The IT Construction Best
Practice Programme (ITCBP) seeks to address specific sectors
of the construction industry in a three year campaign. It has
it's own website which is to be developed into the pre-eminant
site for IT in UK construction.
The DTI also sponsors Research Focus (a quarterly magazine,
bringing the best research and innovation outputs to the
