July 2002, published by the Construction Umbrella Bodies Adjudication Task Group c/o Construction Industry Council (CIC).  Copies can be downloaded and ordered from the CIC's website. In addition you may find some of the related information contained below useful.

"Users Guide to Adjudication" 
Published by the Construction Umbrella Bodies Adjudication Task Group to provide accessible and accurate guidance for users of the construction adjudication process. It follows the publication of 'Guidance to Adjudicators' in July 2002.

Finding an Insurance Broker - This guidance has been prepared to help smaller construction sector companies to find an insurance broker

Presenting your employer's liability risk to your insurers - This guidance is aimed at helping you to understand better what your employers' liability insurer needs to know about your business, and how by presenting your health and safety risk management to your insurer you can receive the most benefit

"Construction Monitor" is published by Building Magazine on behalf of the Construction Sector Unit of the DTI and is supplied with Building Magazine on the 3^rd Friday of each month (except January and August).  It is a service provided by the DTI to let businesses know about government initiatives, policies and services designed to help the construction industry succeed.

"Rethinking Construction: The Report of the Construction Task Force"
July 1998, published by the DTI (URN 98/1095)
The report of the Construction Task Force to the Deputy Prime Minister, John Prescott, on the scope for improving the quality and efficiency of UK construction. Also known as the Egan Report.

This report summarises the findings of the 12 regional Rethinking the Construction Client events held by Rethinking Construction at the end of 2001 and outlines where to go to get further details of how to implement these changes.

"Accelerating Change: A report of the Strategic Forum for Construction Chaired by Sir John Egan" September 2002, published by Rethinking Construction 

Accelerating Change presents the construction industry and its clients with strategic targets to deliver the improvements described in Sir John Egan’s 1998 report “Rethinking Construction”.  These strategic targets are underpinned by a series of more detailed actions and recommendations.
