Consultation Document on Draft Orders to be made under the Export Control Act 2002

The following table provides links to the Consultation Document on and copies of, the Draft Orders related to the Export Control Act that received Royal Assent 24 July 2002. This consultation relates to the draft orders on strategic export controls to be made under the Act. It explains how the Government expects the new controls that it has already announced it will introduce under the Act, to operate in practice and invites views on their practical implementation. Views are invited from all organisation from all organisations and individuals with an interest in strategic export controls by 30 April 2003. A partial Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) is included at Annex A on which views are also invited.
