  CONDUCT OF EMPLOYMENT AGENCIES AND EMPLOYMENT BUSINESS REGULATIONS

 

On 23 July 2002 the DTI published a consultation exercise on and released a final draft of the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Business Regulations (97Kb)* inviting comment on the main proposed changes.  

In addition, we issued an explanatory note setting out the proposed changes to the draft Conduct Regulations, following the previous consultation in February/March 2001 and updated the Regulatory Impact Assessment (62Kb).

The closing dates for comments on these proposals is 1 November 2002

The 1999 drafts of the Conduct Regulations and the Regulatory Impact Assessment can be found in Annexes 2 and 3 of the original consultation document (398Kb).

The documents for the 2001 consultation are at: Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Business Regulations (111Kb) and the Regulatory Impact Assessment (59Kb). There is also an explanatory document detailing the main changes (27Kb) made to the original draft regulations following the 1999 consultation exercise.
