STRD produces a series of booklets under the generic title Product
Standards. These, and most of our other publications, are
available for download in Adobe Acrobat
format. Some of the titles, particularly the lists of Harmonised
Standards and Notified Bodies, may be revised frequently.
The booklets provide general
guidance and are supplemented in some instances by listings of
harmonised European standards produced to enable manufacturers
to comply with the directives; and by listings of non-DTI sources
of information.
A full listing of these and
all other DTI publications, with on-line ordering facilities,
can be found on the Publications@DTI
webpages.
The booklets are also available
free of charge from the DTI’s Publications Orderline : 0870
1502 500 (national rate) where some advice and signposting
is also available. Orders only for the booklets can also
