role of the Data Collection Branch is to collect information from
construction firms on output, employment and new orders by means of
periodic inquiries, targeting firms selected from the comprehensive
Builders Address File maintained and updated by the Data Collection
Branch.
The
return of the inquiry forms is rigorously monitored, firms failing
to reply after written reminders are contacted by telephone to
ensure accurate and timely results. Results of the inquiries are
published and are available to the industry on subscription. |
