GM Crop Farm Scale Evaluations: Location of Sites

The Farm Scale Evaluations are a 3 year research programme, lasting until 2002/2003, allowing independent researchers to study the effect, if any, that the use of weedkillers (herbicides) associated with GM herbicide tolerant maize, oilseed rape (spring and autumn sown) and beet (sugar and fodder) might have on farmland wildlife, when compared with weed control used with non-GM crops.

The confirmed FSE site locations for England and Wales are available here:

Details of sites in Scotland can be found on the Scottish Executive website at www.scotland.gov.uk.
