Communications Act
The
Communications Bill received Royal Assent on 17 July 2003 and a Commencement
Order followed, bringing the relevant provisions of the Communications Act
into force on 25 July 2003. You can find full details of the Act on the

addition, the Electronic Communications (Universal Service) Order 2003 was made
on this date and this also came into effect on 25th July.

fourth Order, the Electronic
Communications Code (Conditions and Restrictions) Regulations 2003 was published
on 13 October and comes into force on 23 October 2003. It can be found at the

A recent Commencement Order covering Electronic Communications Broadcasting was
