Modernising Company Law

The three-year review of British company law concluded with the publication of the independent Steering Group's Final Report on 26 July 2001. The Government published its response to the Final Report and set out its core proposals for simplifying and modernising company law in a White Paper (Cm 5553) dated 16 July 2002.
